Export Service Setup

The Export Service setup is included in the Enterprise version of Wijmo. In the installation zip file, the msi installer is inside the GridChartExportService.zip file.

System Requirements

IIS v7.0 or higher
ASP.NET 4.0 or higher (4.5 or higher with Windows 8)
.NET Framework v4.0 or higher
Internet Explorer 9 or higher on the service host (only required if you use markup mode of the chart export service)

Note: On a Microsoft Windows 7 or Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 machine with .NET Framework 4.0, install Microsoft hotfix KB2468871. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2468871 for more information.

Installation

Run the installer on your server and enter the licensing information, or click cancel to install it as a trial version.

The Export Service requires its own serial number, which is included in the Enterprise version. Evaluation users can expect a watermark to appear on exported files during the evaluation period, and an error after the evaluation period ends. Once installed, in IIS, the C1ASPNETExportService appears as a node under your Default Web Site.

By default, the serviceUrl parameters of the exportChart and exportGrid methods are set to use ComponentOne's demo ExportService.

Once you set up your own service, you can set the serviceUrl to use it.
