Export To PDF

In this topic, you'll learn how to add references for Wijeventscalendar export to an HTML project using HTML markup and jQuery script, and to customize a number of PDF settings for the export.

Use the script and markup below to export your Wijeventscalendar to PDF file format, and set various options, such as document image quality, compression speed, fontType etc. You can also password protect your document and restrict content copying and editing. The script below initializes the widget and provides various options to export events calendar on button click:

The path to the events calendar export API is directed to the ComponentOne demo server.
The type of file to export is set to Pdf.
The name of the exported file is set to MyEvCalPDFExport.
The Pdf options are set to use a custom paper size and custom margins, to favor speed over quality.
This also makes the PDF password protected, which allows you to open the file only when you enter user password, and enables editing and copying file content only when you enter owner password.
